The Meaning of Wealth

The concept of wealth is something of a conundrum.

Its meaning varies depending on our cultural backgrounds and how it’s been embedded within our psyche via societal expectations. But generally, when we think about wealth, we are equating it to the pounds in our bank account and our ability to live a life of relative ease through our property, invested assets, vehicles and disposable income (arguably most used today for holidays, clothing and technology). But what does financial wealth bring to us humans on an individual and societal level?
